School Leaver Andre Nel, who joined the KeNako Academy in January this year, had his best result to date when finishing second in the Goose Valley Open played this past weekend.  Andre scored a 77 in the first 18 holes to be 5 shots off the pace but he played his second 18 holes in a 2 under par 70 to climb up the leaderboard and miss getting into a play-off by just one shot.  Alan Lones returned from the NOOM tournament played in Durban, where he enjoyed a good tournament, to finish in 5th place whilst Reinhardt Claassen enjoyed his best Open tournament result by finishing in 11th position at Goose Valley.
