Franklin Manchest has won a Glacier Junior Tournament for the second year in a row and qualified to play in the National Finals later this year. Franklin shot a 73 in the Glacier Junior Series tournament hosted by Louis Oosthuizen that was recently played at Mossel Bay Golf Club and then prevailed in a play-off. The field was quite a strong one, with several boys travelling up from Cape Town to play in the tournament in a bid to qualify for the National Finals. The tournament was played during the Rundle College school holidays which meant that not all KeNako students were in George and able to play. Other KeNako students to finish in the top 10 were Aidan Boon, who finished tied 7th, and Caylum Boon wh finished in a tie for 9th.
