5 KeNako Students Finish in Top 20
Julien Sale scored a level par 72 and Cameron Moralee a 4 under par 68 to tie for 6th place in the NOOM Joburg Junior Open at Royal Johannesburg. Cameron had his round to 6 under par with 4 holes to play then unfortunately dropped 2 shots on the closing holes, but he still enjoyed an excellent round and a very good finish.
Joint overnight leader Caylum Boon struggled to a 76 to drop to 12th place but to Caylum’s credit he finished his round in good fashion with 2 consecutive birdies at the last 2 holes. Allan Lones and Franklin Manchest both scored 2 over par 74’s to match their first round scores and tie 19th, whilst Aidan Boon had another 75 to finish 28th and Hayden Garcia did not enjoy his best day, shooting a 79 to finish 38th. Overall an excellent tournament for the KeNako Academy students, with 5 players in the top 20 of this National Order of Merit tournament.
