Azelia Meichtry continued on her winning ways since flying into South Africa from Switzerland at the beginning of January by winning the Ladies Kingswood Club Championships. She has now won the Western Province Junior Championships, the KeNako Junior series at Oubaai with a 64, the Southern Cape Junior Championships with rounds of 67 and 66 and now the Kingswood Club Championships with rounds of 73 and 69. A wonderful month of golf for this very likeable young lady. Fellow KeNako Academy and Swiss student Pauline Tainton finished 2nd in spite of struggling with a leg injury – congratulations to both of you!
