Jabulane Mabilane Wins Kingswood Club Championships

Jabulane Mabilane had the biggest win of his young career when he won the 2015 Kingswood Club Championships with two rounds of 72 for a level par total of 144.  Jabulane was playing excellent golf in round one and had his round to 4 under par with 4 holes to go before enduring a triple bogey and another dropped shot to finish his opening round at level par.  In round two he was involved in a testing tussle with Stafie Barnard, one of the Southern Cape’s top amateur golfers, and Cameron Moralee and he showed his metal by sinking a 20 foot birdie on the last hole to win by a shot from Stafie and two from Cameron.
No-one plays Kingswood more than ‘Jabs’ and the win is just reward for a young man who has such a passion and enthusiasm for the game.  His game has developed through his work in the gym, on the range and on the course.  His wonderful work ethic has produced consistent performances and one of his highlights in 2014 was being selected for the U19 Southern Cape IPT team that played in the National IPT in December 2014.  Well played and congratulations on your fine victory ‘Jabs’!
