Franklin Manchest lost the Plettenberg Open title in a play-off with Martin Vorster.  Franklin had rounds of 72 and 73 for a one over par total of 145.  The play-off took place on the par 5 18th hole where Franklin made a par but Martin birdied the hole.  Congratulations to Martin Vorster who is an excellent young golfer and who played for South Africa in his age group in 2014. Franklin, who is still just 16 years old, has enjoyed an excellent season and he is currently ranked No.4 on the U19 rankings, No.2 on the U23 rankings and No.6 on the senior rankings in the Southern Cape.
