Alan Lones had another excellent result when he finished tied 3rd in the Western Province U23 Championship at Durbanville Golf Club. Several KeNako students are playing in this coming week’s Curro South African Junior International which is also to be played at Durbanville Golf Club so arrangements were made for a few of the students to travel through to Cape Town on Saturday to allow them to play in the WP U23 Championships on Sunday and to enjoy some extra practice on the Durbanville course. The students played the course totally blind, which makes Alan’s result all the more impressive. He had two rounds of 72, with 4 birdies and 4 drop shots in both his morning and his afternoon rounds. Well played Alan! Other KeNako students who finished in the top 30 were Caylum Boon (tied 18th), Aidan Boon (tied 23rd) and Henry Anderson (tied 25th)
