Jade Buitendag Beats Andre Nel in Play-off to Win Pinnacle Point Open

Jade Buitendag beat friend and colleague Andre Nel in a play-off to win the Pinnacle Point Open.  Jade scored 75 in the morning to lie 6 shots behind first round leader Henk Geldenhuys before storming home with a superb 5 under par 67 in the afternoon to tie with Andre and then beat him at the second hole of a play-off.  Andre had rounds of 70 and 72.  Both players birdied the par 5 18th hole in the first hole of the play-off but second time around Andre could only manage a par to Jade’s birdie.  Loris Schüpbach had his best finish since joining KeNako at the beginning of the year by tieing for 3rd place at even par 144 after rounds of 70 and 74.  Alan Lones (7th) and Cameron Moralee (T8th) were other KeNako students in the top 10.
