The SAGA Junior Team won the Challenge IPT played at Milnerton Golf Club last week. The Challenge IPT comprises 6 teams each year; the SAGA Junior Team, teams comprising South Africa’s top amateur players from the major provinces Central Gauteng, Gauteng North and Western Province, a South African University team and a Presidents Team. Congratulations to the SAGA Junior Team on their fantastic victory against very strong opposition. KeNako Academy is very proud to have had three players – Cameron Moralee, Julien Sale and Caylum Boon – selected for the team and congratulations too to Franklin Manchest on being selected for the Presidents Team. The tournament is played over 5 days, 36 holes per day, comprising foursomes matches each morning and a singles match each afternoon. The boys played some excellent golf and all four KeNako students played under par golf for the week, an outstanding achievement over 90 holes (5 rounds) of singles matches!
