Franklin Manchest continued his excellent start to the year by winning the opening SCJOOM of the year, the Patsy Parsons Junior Open played at George Golf Club on 31st January. He won in a play-off against Carlo Heunis with a birdie at the second extra hole. Franklin is now the only senior school-going KeNako Academy still playing local Junior Order of Merit tournaments so it is good to see him flying the KeNako flag high. There were also some excellent results from some of the younger students which bodes well for the future.
