The SA Boys U17 Champs finished today and Jethro Newton continued his excellent recent improvement by finishing in 11th position after a final round 74. 2 Years ago Jethro was a tennis and rugby player who had started to play golf. He attended the same July Winter Holiday Camp as the one just hosted at KeNako Academy. That Holiday Camp persuaded him to give up his Sports Scholarship at a top school in KwaZulu Natal and pursue golf as his dedicated sport option. Fantastic to see him starting to do so well. Impressive performances after just 2 years! Antoine Sale shot a 75 today to tie 14th, another good result.
