The Southern Cape team celebrated a historic first victory at the 56th South African Inter-Provincial Championship played at Fish River. Congrats from KeNako Academy to the team, to management and to all involved in Southern Cape Golf.

The team enjoyed an excellent week in some very testing, windy conditions. Ultimately the title came down to the final day, with Southern Cape tied at the top of the table with Gauteng North. It was in effect a shoot-out with winner taking all.

Southern Cape proceeded to beat Gauteng North 7,5 – 4,5 to become Premier IPT Champions of South Africa. Congratulations to Billy Valentine, who managed the team, and to each individual team member on their contribution to an outstanding result. Special congratulations to the 3 KeNako Academy students who were on the team. Well done Andre, Jade and Caylum!
