Besides Caylum Boon’s victory, there were some other excellent results in the Eastern Province Strokeplay Championship. Aidan Boon enjoyed his first top ten result in an open National tournament, finishing in a tie for 9th with KeNako Academy old boy Alan Lones, whilst young Nicola Gerhardsen finished 12th in his first major tournament in South Africa.
