Joburg Open 2018 Update

A field of 240 golfers started the Joburg Open, with the first 2 rounds played on each of the Firethorn and Bushwillow courses at Randpark Golf Club.Andre Nel scored a 1st round 71 in his European Tour debut. KeNako Academy old boy Breyten Meyer scored a 70. KeNako Academy School Leaver Aidan Boon supported Andre by caddying for him in the tournament. In his 2nd round Andre scored 5 under par 67 to comfortably make the cut. KeNako Academy old boy Breyten Meyer joined Andre Nel at 5 under par after a second round 68. A late afternoon thunderstorm left Breyten having to return early the following morning to complete the final 2 holes of his round. He played the final 8 holes in 3 under par to move into a tie for 36th. Great to see both Andre and Breyten making the cut in a European Tour event!
