Calvin Maia once again missed a play-off by just one stroke, but he continues to improve and he will no doubt break through soon and win his first Southern Cape Junior Order of Merit Tournament. Mike Saxer is now well on the road to recovery after his surgery and he finished 4th, with Alvar Zwahlen 6th and Jay Nathwani 9th after a very good 76 of his 5 handicaps.
