Robert Foley, who is studying at Stirling University in Scotland, recently enjoyed two good but at the same time frustrating results in Scotland. The frustration is that he needed to win one of the two tournaments to qualify to play in the forthcoming R & A Palmer Cup. Robert finished 2nd in the Scottish Student Stroke Play Championships played at the Moray Golf Club and he followed that result with a 2nd place finish in the R & A Foundation Scholars Tournament on the Old Course at St Andrews. Robert missed winning the Individual Title by just a single stroke. No luck on making the Palmer Cup, Robert, but well done on your two second placed finishes!
