At the Southern Cape Closed there were some highlights for some of the younger students. 16-Year-old Jay Nathwani scored a competitive career best level par 72 (since arriving in South Africa) in round 2, while 14-year-old Kyle Conradie scored an excellent 75 in round 2. Jay had concluded his first 18 holes with a 3 under par back 9 holes and he continued that form into the second round on Sunday. Young Kyle had an unfortunate finish to his second round but still enjoyed and excellent score. Kyle has recently been experiencing some back problems and it is good to see him playing and competing.
