21 School Teams of 4 players from across South Africa qualified to play in the SA High Schools Championships 2018 at Devonvale Golf Estate in Cape Town.

Nicola Gerhardsen, Calvin Maia, Mike Saxer and Jay Nathwani were selected to represent Rundle College. The top 3 scores from each team count towards the team total each round. Nicola Gerhardsen was Rundle College’s best player on day one shooting a 2 under par 70. Scoring conditions on the second day were much tougher, with a 3 club wind testing the players. Calvin Maia had an excellent second round, recording the low round of the day with his 2 under par 70. Mike Saxer had unfortunately taken ill overnight so he did well to play and contribute to the team. For Jay Nathwani this was another good learning experience and he will continue to improve. Rundle College finished in 8th place. Well played boys!
