Nicola Gerhardsen finished best amongst the KeNako Academy students, scoring 288 to finish in a tie for 12th place at the Southern Cape Open played at Plettenberg Country Club.

The 1st round experienced severe weather conditions which saw play being suspended. Caylum Boon had his worst tournament in quite a while and he tied 39th with Calvin Maia. Aidan Boon and Mike Saxer were a stroke behind and tied 41st.
