The Southern Cape lost 4 – 5 to Gauteng on the final day of the SA Women’s Inter Provincial Championship but the KeNako Academy girls enjoyed a good day. Young Sylken-Leigh November, playing in her first IPT, managed to halve her Singles match. Carey Dodds won her match comprehensively 4 & 3, having halved her morning Foursomes match. On the final day Zané Naude played at No.1 for the Southern Cape team and she did very well to win her match 1 up. The Southern Cape team finished 4th in the A Section, a very good result.
