The KeNako Academy students regularly tend to vegetable garden to control the weeds and water the plants. Weeding a vegetable patch loosens the soil, it allows water to infiltrate the soil more rapidly and therefore the roots of the plants and seedlings can develop in a better way and collect all the necessary nutrients from the soil that is needed.
