Tanzanian National Jay Nathwani is off to America on a golf scholarship in January! Jay has enrolled at the Wayland Baptist University to complete a 4 year Business Management course whilst playing golf. Jay departs for America mid-January. Wayland Baptist University is private university based in Plainview, Texas. His career highlights thus far include; finishing T4th in the Stilbaai Open; taking 4th place in the Southern Cape Junior Championship; in 2018 Jay was selected to represent Tanzania in the All Africa Junior Golf Challenge; in 2018 and 2019 Jay also represented the Southern Cape U19 team. He was also proud to be part of the Tanzanian National Team at the Africa Region 4 Championship in 2017. Jay represented his home country in the Junior Open in Scotland in 2016.
