Congratulations to Swiss national Nicola Gerhardsen who played impressive golf to finish 2nd in the Irish Amateur Open Championship. 93 players from eleven countries competed in the Strokeplay event. Players teed off to compete in the tournament on Friday, 15 October. Nicola played spectacular golf but unfortunately lost after a 3-hole aggregated playoff over the 18th, 10th and 9th holes. Nicola said; “Thanks for a great week on one of the toughest and most beautiful course”. His three rounds consisted of 72, 72, 73. Well played Nicola!
