Two KeNako Academy golfers were selected to compete in the Southern Cape U19 Team selected for the SA Junior Inter-Provincial Tournament. Teams from across the country competed in the event at Kimberley Golf Club during the holidays from 18 – 23 December.
According to Keegan Shutt it was a good experience and he enjoyed the opportunity to compete against the top players from each province U19 team in South Africa. And he stated that he had good fun overall with the Southern Cape Team.
And the feeling was mutual for Jaydon Liddell, “My experience at the junior IPT was nothing short of amazing. The weather didn’t play its part as two of the four days where disrupted by lightning. However, I really enjoyed myself and the team environment was also great as we all became great friends. The team came fifth but no matter where we finished the experience and atmosphere was great.”
